Multiple OS in VPS Servers
Our VPS server solutions feature three Linux releases which you may pick from for the Operating System of your new web server - Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. Apart from being free, the OSs are really stable and risk-free and the key reason to offer all three of them is to make sure that you can run each app that you would like, as different pieces of software could have different requirements about the environment they work on. Each one of the three OSs is supported by a large community of developers who have created many hundreds of software packages that you can set up and use on your VPS. In accordance with the Operating System that you select, you will also be able to select between 3 different Control Panels to handle your hosting content. Needless to say, if you decide that you need another OS, we could always re-install the server with it. As an optional upgrade, we also offer you weekly updates of the OS for optimum stability and security.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
The dedicated server plans that we offer come with three different Operating Systems to pick from. They are all Linux release - Ubuntu, CentOS and Debian, and not only do they have no license fees, but they’re also known as the most stable and risk-free OSs. We provide three different ones because each one of them is backed by a different community. The packages that you can add on your web server are different and this may matter if you want to install some piece of software with specific requirements regarding the hosting environment. In this light, the internet hosting Control Panel which you can select for the dedicated server also depends on the Operating System that you will pick. You can select any of the three Operating Systems during the order procedure, but if necessary, we can always set up the server once again with an alternative one upon your request. As an additional service that you may add to the package whenever you want, we can update your OS regularly so as to keep it as risk-free as possible.
